University of Pittsburgh Receiver Suffers Fatal Fall

University of Pittsburgh wide receiver Billy Gaines died Wednesday after he fell 25 to 30 feet from the ceiling of a church. Apparently he had been living at St. Anne Church in Homestead because his apartment had been destroyed by fire.

According to Associated Press reports, Gaines climbed into a crawl space above the church's ceiling before falling on a pew below. Reports say he was alone at the time of the accident.
