Joe Wants Jets on Broadway

According to the New York Post, The New York Jets have enlisted the services of "Broadway" Joe Namath, MVP of Super Bowl III, to lobby for a stadium on New York's West Side. Namath was introduced as ambassador-at-large of the Jets inside the Renaissance Times Square Hotel with a fitting backdrop of Times Square over his shoulder.

"These guys," Namath told reporters, referring to the Jets front office, "are out to win a championship first, but also to bring our team back here home to New York City."

Hey... Wouldn't it be sweet if one of the two New York teams actually played their home games in New York?
