Buckeyes Star Given Oral Exams

Did Ohio State running back Maurice Clarett receive assistance to pass a class before the Fiesta Bowl? Paulette Pierce, an associate professor, told "The New York Times" the star running back passed African-American and African Studies 101 by taking two oral exams after he walked out on midterm exams during the fall. Pierce also said several football players told her that tutors occasionally wrote their papers, but she had no proof. It's not clear at this time if the oral exams broke any NCAA rules. read more...
