Rookie Kiel Faces Surgery, Out Four to Six Weeks

The San Diego Chargers announced Tuesday, Rookie safety Terrence Kiel, the victim of an attempted carjacking nearly two weeks ago, will be out four to six weeks as a result of injuries sustained during the attack. The Chargers medical staff discovered that Kiel has a fractured left fibula, and he will also require arthroscopic surgery, which is scheduled for Wednesday, to flush the bone fragments from his knee.
