Arenafootball2 Player Collapses, Dies

Bakersfield Blitz FB/LB Julian Yearwood collapsed near the team bench during Saturday night’s game against the Wichita Stealth at Kansas Coliseum in Wichita, Kansas. After numerous resuscitation attempts, he was pronounced dead at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital at 9:37 p.m. CT.. Yearwood was a 6-foot-6, 260-pound fullback/linebacker. The cause of death is not known at this time.
