NFL Chooses IBM as Its IT Partner

The NFL announced on Wednesday, it has teamed up with IBM to create the technology platform required to support next-generation digital media and other new business ventures for the NFL. IBM will also help the NFL convert up to 80 years of pro football films, more than 100 million feet, into digital form for players, coaches and fans. As part of the agreement, IBM receives the right to use NFL and Super Bowl imagery in its advertising efforts. They also will receive prominent presence on numerous NFL media platforms.
