Patriots Cut Four-Time Pro Bowl Safety

The New England Patriots have cut defensive back Lawyer Milloy, according to reports on NFL.com, after the four-time Pro Bowl safety refused to accept a paycut. He was in the fourth year of a seven-year, $35 million contract and was scheduled to make $4.5 million this year. He will count $4.05 million toward the salary cap in 2004.
