Bills Hire Lawyer
Wednesday September 3, 2003
The Buffalo Bills official website announced Wednesday that the team has agreed in principle on a contract with free agent Lawyer Milloy. The signing means the four-time Pro Bowl safety will be on the Bills' sideline when they open their season on Sunday against the New England Patriots, who released him on Tuesday when he refused to take a pay cut. Milloy spent the first seven years of his career with the Pats, starting 106 consecutive games and recording 846 tackles, 19 interceptions, seven sacks, and seven fumble recoveries.
