Elway, Sanders Head List of 2004 HOF Nominees

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has released its preliminary list of nominees for induction in 2004. The list is headlined by first-time nominees John Elway and Barry Sanders, both of whom should be shoe-ins for enshrinement in Canton, Ohio, in there first go-around, and includes other greats such as "Bullet" Bob Hayes, Lester Hayes, and Ken Stabler.
