Arizona Lands 2008 Super Bowl

National Football League owners voted Thursday morning to award Super Bowl XLII to the Arizona Cardinals. The game will be played in the Cardinals' new stadium in Glendale and is tentively scheduled for early February, 2008. The last Super Bowl played in Arizona was in 1996, when Dallas beat Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XXX in Sun Devil Stadium. Arizona beat out Washington, D.C. and Tampa for the right to host the game.
