The Associated Press has learned Minnesota safety and special teams captain Willie Offord will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
The San Francisco 49ers are moving Mike Rumph back to cornerback.
The Detroit Lions got back to work Monday after having not played during the bye week. (They didn't really play the week before in Chicago either.)
Despite gutting it out on Sunday, the Philadelphia Inquirer says Eagles kicker David Akers will be on the shelf for a while with a torn hamstring.
