Dungy's 18-Year-Old Son Found Dead

On Sunday, Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy faced the disappointment of his team's first loss of the season after starting 13-0. But any pain suffered from that loss pales in comparison to what he must be facing now after his son was found dead in his apartment Thursday morning. James Dungy, who was found by his girlfriend, was just 18 years old.

As the father of two boys, I cannot imagine the pain the Dungy family is going through at this time as they face every family's worst nightmare. I'm sure there are no words this column can offer that will ease the grief associated with this type of loss, and all I can do is say that Tony and his wife Lauren have been in my thoughts and prayers a lot since this story broke Thursday morning.
