NFL Draft Schedule and Tickets
Friday April 21, 2006
For those of you thinking about attending the NFL Draft in person, the NFL has finally released information on how to obtain tickets to this year's event. As in the past, tickets will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the box office on the day of the draft. However, local ordinances prohibit lining up on the sidewalks directly in front of or around Radio City Music Hall. Fans may line up on the morning of the NFL Draft at the direction of Radio City personnel. Fan entry will take place at the "Carriage Door Entrance" located on 50th street between 5th and 6th avenues. Doors will open at 11 a.m..
For those of you not attending in person, About Football provides a schedule and details of the big weekend. Read more...

I would like to to purchase NFL Draft Tickets for a gift. Are there tickets available to purchase online or at any ticket box offices in Kansas City?
Cathy,
Tickets for the draft are free, but they are only available at the box office on draft days.
My father and brother and I are going to NYC for the 2007 NFL Draft. Has the location of the draft been determined? How early will I need to get there to get tix? Thanks.
John, it is at Radio City Music Hall again on April 28-29. I won tickets, but i don’t know how the seating works once inside or how long the lines are at the box office. Anyone know how seating works with tickets? Is it Gen. admin. or numbered seats?
I was wondering if you could buy tix online if so how
CAN I BUY TICKETS ON LINE IF SO WHAT ARE THE PRICES
Anybody wanna sell their tickets for premium price, let me know and i will provide my email.
I would like to purchase tickets as well
Tickets are handed out on a first-come first-serve basis at the box office only the morning of the draft.
I am trying to buy two tickets for the draft this year. I tried getting them in person but we couldnt get them so I am trying to get them before hand this year!!!! Someone let me know Thanks .. Its for my son’s birhday!!!!
I won tickets, but won’t receive them until March. I do not plan on selling them as it would be cool to go to. That is unless i got a ridiculous offer.
Hey Chris, let me know if you are serious in selling them, I will provide my email. Whatever it takes. I have paypal also
My buddy and I went to the draft last year in NYC and while the excitement of the fants is terrific, and the atmosphere is fun…the NFL does an absolutely terrible job of making this event “fan friendly”. The NFL does gives out about 35 % of the tickets to the media/ corporate sponsors before the event, leaving 65 % for the true fans. Last year the NFL claimed that tickets would not be dispersed until 9:00AM…well people were lined up at 3:00AM in the morning and guess what ….the NFL gave those fans tickets ! There were thousands of people there, way too many to fit in Radio City Music Hall. And if the draft starts at 12:00,and they don’t let you in til 11:00, then you wait in line hoping to get in, find out you won’t ( after the draft starts ) and are left scrambling to find a place to watch the draft. My advice ? If you’ve never gone, and are a true fan, it’s worth the experience…just be prepared to wait in line (i.e. bring your laptop, a good book, and be prepared for the weather ).
Franco, if you have tickets in advance, are you guaranteed entry??
As I noted above, my brother, father and I are flying in from Denver and would love to buy draft tix before we get out there…let me know. john.gaddis@gmail.com
Thanks!!!
I am also interested. Email me at pingratta@yahoo.com. We can discuss details then. Thanks
To those who have been to the draft before, do they sell beer there?
If anyone has tickets and is considering selling them please email me at Dave@theraidercast.com thanks…
I attend the draft every year and basically the way it works is that, you stand in line and hope you get a ticket.
Once you have a ticket, you are required to attend both days from beginning to end. At the end of the second day when the third string QB from Cal Poly Tech is drafted, you hand your application to an NFL suit on the way out (they hand out the apps in the middle of the second day). You are then automatically guaranteed a ticket the following year. About a month prior to the Draft you get an acceptance letter in the mail which you have to send back saying that you will attend. It is at this time that you have to send it in with your friends acceptance letter that you are requesting to sit next to each other. Yes it is assigned seating. Now you will receive your tickets in the mail about 2 days before you are actually ready to fly out. Of course you can’t sleep at night waiting on this ticket to arrive in your mailbox.
So the long and short is, if you can put your time in the first year it’s smooth sailing from there on out.
P.S. Apply for a 2nd mortgage loan to cover the cost of the hot dogs and cokes that they sell. All kidding aside, it truly is a great experience!
Ohhh. No beer. Only soda.
how much are tickets if you get them t the box office?
This is madness. There could be considerable money to be made selling tix, maybe having VIP boxes and all that stuff along with merchandise, etc. To hear it’s some cheesy thing with people lining up at 3am with no way to secure tickets in advance is awful. I couldn’t imagine traveling cross country to go to this and then not getting a ticket and having to find a bar to watch it on tv. Madness.
Hi Heath, I will be attending this year and i was wondering, do they serve food as well? What kind of prices were they charging last year for food and drink? Thanks.
Does anybody know what hotel the players and invitees stay at in nyc???
The players stay at the Holiday Inn, 725 5th Avenue
If anyone has tickets I will pay any price. Let me know.
be a real fan and camp out the night before the draft.. Tickets are free if you can man up and wait out the night before where they hand out tickets. Ive done it for the last 5 years.
I went last year and there was mad confusion on when the tickets were going to be given out. Eventually, they gave out vouchers at the stroke of midnight and then we were able to go home. The seating was based on when you turned in your voucher for a ticket that morning. Basically, if you haven’t gone before, go out Friday night for a drink somewhere and then stop by the Radio City Music Hall at about 12:45am. They give the tickets to those in line, but there wasn’t 3000 people in line, so the rest given on a first-come first-serve basis.
I attended the draft last year and NFL give tickets to the draft to the fans that stay until the very end of day two. I did that so I have tickets to the draft. Unfortunatly, I have my school finals on monday so I am willing to sell my ticket. If your interested, shoot me an e-mail @ kfujita31@hotmail.com

I went to the NFL draft last year at 1:00 am on the day of the draft. I’m hearing that this year they won’t hand out tickets until 5:00am. Is this true?
When should I start standing in line? When are the tickets given out?

theres the link guys for the draft. now here’s the intruiging question………are they telling the truth? for those of u who recall, last year they said they would disperse tickets at 9am and that was in fact not true. therefore, do we go at 5am to get tickets or go like 11/12 and just camp out for the night……
i once dropped off an attending friend one year at about 12 at night, he said something about getting in line to get bracelets which then let you get in line for tickets in the early morning, can somebody who has gone tell me if this is true, and by the way, what are the chances that you wont get in, if you camp out?
yeah thats true. last year they gave out bracelets and you got a ticket the next morning if you had one……..they gave them out sometime after midnight. even though they said tickets wouldnt be released til 9am the day of the draft. so who’s going to camp out along with me? lol btw, go broncos!
is it possible to get tickets if you don’t camp out, like how early do u think u wud have to get there
I’m hearing midnight and then the NFL says 5 am, who out there really knows what is going on?
K final time….I went to the draft last year and got there like 8am and stood in line to get a ticket. They said they were giving out tickets at 9am last year. I stayed there all morning til after the draft started and never got one. Instead I had to rush to ESPN Sportzone to watch the draft there. I ended up hearing afterwards that the free tickets were given out between midnight and 3am last year instead. Any tickets that were left over were given out the next morning at 9am, which was ridiciously low. And I was standing right across RCMH in line and still didnt get one so u get an idea of how many were left. Now this year, they’re saying that tickets will be given out at 6am. So question is……when do we line up…at 5am like nfl.com says or camp out overnight like the people last yr did. Cuz apparently last year was bs and clearly I do not want a repeat this year. Therefore, I for one, will be camping at friday night at 10/11pm and just wait the whole night until I get a ticket to avoid not going. So who;s with me? lol
Cesar, keep in mind that there will not be as many people there because the New York teams don’t have a good pick like last year where the Jets had the 4th pick.
Just be a high roller and buy the VIP passes
Lol. I remember that pick, man people booed a lot at the Sportzone. Anyway, yeah I guess that might be true. However, I’ll still camp out night before. I can study for finals there when it starts to get boring lol.
do you have to be a certain age to go? I’m 15 but my friends 16 and where from jersey so where just going to camp out there all night. I was wondering if there’s a lot of people there and if people throw like parties in the middle of the street or something(I heard that from someone but I’m not sure if its true)?
No you don’t have to be a certain age to go because I saw younger people that were standing in line last year. I wouldn’t be surprised if they did have parties though considering theres nothing else to do over night…Only 3 more weeks to go
do you need to be 21? i really want to go this year and i’m only 15. email me @ whitemudd423@aol.com if you know.
thanks
i will stand in line if anybody wnat to buy our tickets we will have four we are on vacation and with nothing eles fdo do that night in line we go
email me at turtleoo7@yahoo.com if you want to buy please include price willing to pay
hey turtle, dont be a jerk. if ur just going there not to even bother to stay and watch the draft dont go at all. dont go just to make some money and use up 4 spots that other people should have.
First Off GOOD LUCK!
THE TICKETS ARE NOT FOR SALE! THAT IS THE WORST PART! SO YOU HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE GET THERE REAL EARLY! I GO EVERY YEAR IT IS PAIN IN THE ASS TO GET TICKETS!
They do have tickets that are given out early, but I can not disclose that information so look into it yourself!
Oh and dont buy tickets from someone because they will probably be fake!
This is what not worry about it was trying to say. http://WWW.NFL.com. Go the the Draft section. They are selling hospitality packages. Pay the piper.
I am curious if there are autograph sessions at the Radio city music hall or if you have to go to the player hotel. If so, what hotel do the players stay at?
I have 2 real VIP tickets to the NFL Draft. I have the letter from the NFL and the ticket in hand. e-mail me at kfujita31@hotmail.com if you are interested. I will send pictures of the ticket and the letter from the NFL if you want.
Hey! Just wondering can you meet the players at radio city music hall or at the exits of radio city music hall? what time do they usually get there for the draft? and what hotels do they stay at? thanks
Ebay has some
Hey all!! 5 days left and counting, woot! Anyways, I guess I’ll check back and see how ur all doing I have to go back to studying for exams this week. See you all in a few days!
2 VIP tickets for the draft. Lower Level. Orch Level. Dead center row T. $1000 for the pair. Email nyguy963@yahoo.com if interested.
After you enter the draft, is it possible to leave and come back? Thanks.
Is the area around there like heavily policed? Because I’m sorry but if me and my friends are gonna be waiitng in likne starting at like midnight were probably gonna be boozed up quite a bit…
Also, realistically whats the best time to show up… me and my friends were thinking like 5 am but apparently people show up earlier? It doesnt make that much difference to me cause I live close but I’m just wondering
2 VIP tickets to Saturday’s NFL Draft available for the right price. I have them photographed, and can email the picture if you like, as well as the letter from the league that is included. interested parties email gogetter71@gmail.com
what time should i head over to radio city music hall, i live in the village? and what time do people honestly start lining up.
No one knows for sure what time people line up…….but to avoid the bs from last yr just be there by midnight. See you all there!
hey g money, you prick, trying to sell tickets that are blocked off buy the espn camera crews. 1000, pathetic
Does anyone know what time they handed out tickets during the 2007 draft? I’m interested in going to the draft in 2008.

I have a friend who works at NFL. He told me that he could get me tickets to the draft. I can get you tickets so let me know if your interested.
I sold tickets to last year’s draft and now I’m looking to sell tickets to the 08 draft. The tickets will be a lot harder to get this year since the Jets have a high pick, which means a lot of Jets fans will be there. These are reserved seats to the draft. If your interested, email me at kfujita31@hotmail.com.
I got a new email. If your interested in the tickets hit me up on rocafella1062@aol.com. Or call me at 917.617.8110

For all of you hardcore, loyal football fans listen up……….i went to the draft last year (got there at 12) and camped out all night. They started to give the tickets out at 6/630 am…..and we were told to come back at 1030 to start line up. This year the draft starts at 3pm instead of 12pm. Therefore, my question is, when should we start lining up for tickets??? Does anyone know or have an idea? And no, don’t give me ticketmaster info. Any information you find other than mine is bs……you have to camp out to get the free tickets. It’s now a matter of what time to get there?
I need 3 tickets to the 2008 nfl draft!!! If anyone has them please let me know!!

Hi, I would like to buy 4 tickets to the 2008 NFL Draft. Please contact me at qbcutler@aol.com or call me at 518-514-8458 so we can work things out. Thanks and GO BRONCOS!!!
Does anyone get turned away?
Can anyone confirm that they did not give out tickets early last year (ie midnight or 2am)? This year they claim they’re giving them out at 10am.
I went a few years back and they gave most of the tickets out the night before despite the posted policy.
