Power Rankings Update

The top two teams, Chicago and Indianapolis, remain the same in our rankings this week, and they’re likely to stay that way until one of the two loses. We do, however, have a couple new teams in the top five, with outstanding showings over the past couple weeks fueling the rise of both the Patriots and Giants.

The plight of the world champion Steelers is also reflected in their slide down the ranks. A generous No. 19 ranking is my treat to Pittsburgh fans this week. But believing this team still has a shot at making the playoffs is a trick you‘re playing on yourself. Read more...
