Now I might be just a little biased, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better venue for discussing anything football than our own About Football Forum. And with the playoffs on the horizon, and the 2007 NFL Draft on the minds of many, the forum is buzzing with conversation. Following are some of the hotter topics of conversation at this point.

The Shawne Merriman Suspension:

"Merriman looked like he never left. He overpowered blocking backs and pushed offensive linemen into the backfield. Those of you who thought he would not look good because of the steroid charge, forget it. He's really back with a vengeance!!" -- 1chargerfan (view thread)
Best Rookie in the AFC:
"Has to be Marcus McNeil! The guy is playing the hardest position on the field next to the QB and is doing as well as the top left tackles in the game. He is also the biggest steal of the 2006 draft IMO!" -- LongestYard (view thread)
The 2007 NFL Draft:
"Who should the Lions take if they end up with the No. 1 pick in the draft?" --MitchRyder546 (view thread)
Underclassmen:
"I love Brian Brohm as a potential top-5 pick, but to be honest, I don't see him coming out this year. They have so much talent coming back at Louisville. I think it's 17 or 18 returning starters if Brohm stays. Brohm has more of the unteachable skills than Brady Quinn does, which in my opinion makes him the QB with more upside, and more desirable for a building franchise (i.e. Raiders). " --SuperCharged03 (view thread)
