If you're interested in an update of every playoff possibility, take a look at the extensive list of playoff scenarios and the league's tiebreaking procedures. I don't have the time or space to go into detail on all of them. But I can give you a quick rundown of the teams that can sew up a playoff berth with a simple win this week as we enter Sunday's week 16 contests.

In the AFC East, the New England Patriots can wrap up the division title, along with a playoff spot, but it won't be easy as they travel to Jacksonville to play a Jaguars team that is fighting to stay in playoff contention. The Pats do catch a break, however, with Fred Taylor apparently out of this game.

In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles can clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. But the Cowboys have the added incentive of potentially wrapping up the division with a win, so don't look for them to go down without a fight.

The Seahawks can take the NFC West with a win, but with the way they have been playing, and the fact that they play the San Diego Chargers, it won't be easy. Fortunately they also have the possibility of backing in with a loss by the San Francisco 49ers to the Arizona Cardinals.

All remaining teams need help getting in this week.
