Featured Draft Prospect No. 21 Justin Blalock

After a brief hiatus from our countdown of the top 32 players in this year's NFL Draft, we're back with the next prospect on our list. Coming in at No. 21 is Texas offensive lineman Justin Blalock, a wide-bodied, road grader type of blocker who overpowers defenders at the point of attack. He's a big guy who takes up a lot of space, but he has surprising athleticism and gets off the line quickly. A few tweaks with his footwork could turn him into a dominant lineman.

Blalock has played both the tackle and guard positions, and will probably be given a look at tackle in the NFL. His skills, however, are a better fit for the guard position, which is where I believe he will eventually find himself. Read more...
