Redskins safety Fred Smoot says nothing happened on the infamous Vikings sex boat cruise. (Yeah right. That totally explains why he plead guilty to disorderly conduct and paid a hefty fine to the NFL.)

American Idol winner and daughter of former NFL player Phillippi Sparks, Jordin Sparks, is rumored to be in the running to sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLII. (Personally, I preferred the little guy with the funky hair, but that's just me.)

Over the weekend, Nick Barnett became the first NFL player arrested in nearly a month. Amazing, I know!

Former Lions head coach Marty Mornhinweg believes he will someday get another chance as an NFL head coach. And why not? Wade Phillips is on his third go-around.

Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper suffered injuries to his left hand during a minor fender bender last week. Says he's fine, though, and will be back to misreading defenses as soon as he finds a team that will actually, you know, let him play.
