Rookie Impact on the 2007 Fantasy Football Season

Generally, as a rule, I don’t rely too much, if at all, on rookies to make a significant contribution on my fantasy
football teams. Sure, I’ll take a chance on a guy I really like in the proper scenario, but usually in a back-up roll. Then if he pans out, I look like a genius. If he doesn’t, my roster isn’t completely deflated.

This year, there are several players who I would consider taking a chance on, most notably Buffalo's Marshawn Lynch. While it might be too big of a risk to spend a high pick on a rookie, the reward could be substantial if you can get him in the mid-to-late rounds. Read more...
