Cincinnaughty Boy Cut Loose, Another Report of Bad Behavior Surfaces

Friday April 4, 2008
Following his latest brush with the law, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry was released by the team that has supported him through a string of off-field incidents. Apparently, after finally tiring of his frequent appearances on police blotters, team officials decided Thursday it was time to cut ties with the troubled-but-talented wideout.

But the story doesn't end there. It seems Mr. Henry and a pair of his teammates may have made a nuisance of themselves on Sunday night at an area nightclub. According to Cincinnati TV station WLWT, Henry, along with defensive tackle Domata Peko and running back Chris Perry, were escorted out of BANG nightclub in Cincinnati after causing a ruckus. Allegedly, Henry was smoking a marijuana cigar inside the club and some of the players hung from a chandelier, ripping it from the ceiling. The report also indicates the trio sprayed champagne on patrons and lifted up women's skirts before they were escorted out.

The nightclub hasn't pressed charges yet, but may if someone doesn't cough up the dough to pay for the damages.

Why do these stupid players act like this?? Do they not realize they’re in the spot light?? They’re setting a wonderful example for kids. Unfortunately, some other team will no doubt pick Henry up and his behavior will continue.
