NFL Playoff Field Narrowed

Cardinals, Chargers Advance
The AFC West and NFC West were without a doubt the two worst divisions in the league in 2008. Fortunately for both the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers, style points aren't given for how a team gets to the playoffs. The fact that they are in puts them on equal footing with everyone else. And both teams took advantage of that on Saturday, advancing to the second round of the NFL playoffs. Read more...

Ravens and Eagles Round Out Final Eight
With the wild-card round of this year's NFL playoffs out of the way, the field of contenders has been narrowed from 12 to eight with the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles joining the group by winning their contests and setting the schedule for the divisional round. Both teams, on Sunday, followed a similar theme in using high-pressure defense to force their opponents into critical mistakes. Read more...
