Cardinals, Steelers Advance to Super Bowl XLIII
Monday January 19, 2009
Sunday's conference championship games were nothing short of spectacular, with both contests remaining competitive to the end. In the NFC we saw a fantastic comeback by the Philadelphia Eagles only to watch it slip away from them in the final minutes, while the AFC contest featured some of the hardest hitting of the season by both squads. In the end, though, two teams who are about as opposite as you can get in the NFL are left standing. The Pittsburgh Steelers, who are shooting for an unprecedented sixth Super Bowl championship, and a Cinderella story in the Arizona Cardinals who had never been as far as the conference championship before this year.
So take a peak over at our Super Bowl headquarters as we recap each of these exciting battles.
