Fantasy Football Camp

Sunday May 10, 2009
Fantasy Football has been around for many years, but with the growth of the internet has come an explosion of interest in the fantasy game. In the past, fantasy commissioners poured over box scores after the games, determining fantasy game scores and recording them in a notebook.

Today, playing the game is as simple as opening an online account, drafting your team, and making weekly lineup changes. And all of this is now automated so that in many cases you can follow your game scores as they happen.

If you are one of the few holdouts that have yet to test your hand at running your own fantasy football team, I would encourage you to give it a try. Having an interest in players from several different teams adds a new aspect and interest level to your football viewing.

So, if you're holding back due to a lack of understanding of how the game works, About Football's Fantasy Football 101 explains the basics of fantasy football, making it simple for anyone to understand. Topics include scoring, drafting a team, selecting a lineup, and much more! Check out the basics...
