Vegas Police Want to Talk to Pacman

Tuesday February 20, 2007
Since he was selected by the Tennessee Titans in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, Adam "Pacman" Jones' has been involved with one brush with the law after another, and is currently in the midst of a six-month window where he needs to avoid any further legal problems in order to be exonerated of charges stemming from an incident last August. It seems, however, that the explosive cornerback is just a magnet for trouble. And now he is being sought for questioning in connection with the shootings of three people at a Las Vegas nightclub early Monday morning.

Per the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Jones was among a number of celebrities, including rapper Nelly and music producer Jermaine Dupri, who were at the club when the shooting broke out at a private event called Harlem Knights.

The report also states Sporting News Radio host Steve Cofield reported that Jones' group incited a commotion after someone threw large amounts of money into the crowd. After Jones and his group left the club, there were allegedly multiple gunshots from automatic weapons coming from Jones' entourage. Two bouncers and a woman were hit with the gunfire.

The Nashville City Paper reached Jones’ agent Michael Huyghue late Monday night, but he said he had no knowledge of Jones’ involvement in any incident. Of course, the fact that he has not spoken with his client in about a week might have something to do with that.
