Nick Eason, DT Clemson
Nick Eason is a one-gap tackle with good speed and quickness, but needs to add a little bulk. He struggles in a two-gap sceme, and lacks the strength to occupy blockers. He will probably be a third-round pick in the NFL Draft. Jarret Johnson, DT Alabama
Jarret Johnson has good quickness, athleticism, and strength, but is a bit undersized. His first step is very fast. Could be moved to defensive end in the NFL. Should be selected in the second round.
William Joseph, DT Miami
William Joseph has good size and athleticism. Gets good penetration with his quickness. Is similar to Tampa Bay's Warren Sapp. Should be selected in the first round. Jimmy Kennedy, DT Penn State
Jimmy Kennedy is a massive run stuffer with good quickness and footwork. Has the strength to collapse the pocket on his own. Clearly the best two gap defensive tackle in the draft. Should be a top-ten pick. Rien Long, DT Washington State
Rien Long is the best pass-rushing defensive tackle in the draft. Has good initial quickness and can disrupt a backfield. Never stops hustling. Shows good recognition skills. Could go in the first half of the first round. Kenny Peterson, DT Ohio State
A top NFL Draft prospect at defensive tackle, Kenny Peterson also played defensive end at Ohio State. Has good size, quickness and power. Lacks the size to play inside, but doesn't have the speed to play end. Could sneak into the first round of the draft. Dewayne Robertson, DT Kentucky
Dewayne Robertson has great size, strength, and shows adequate quickness. He displays great footwork and balance, and consistently gets a good jump on the snap. Will be tough to stop one-on-one in the NFL. May have worked himself into a top-ten selection. Johnathan Sullivan, DT Georgia
Johnathan Sullivan is a force against the run, but also has the ability to get after the quarterback. Changes directions well, and has good closing speed. Very good at chasing down the play. He should be picked in the middle of the first round. Ty Warren, DT Texas A&M
Ty Warren is a very solid defender, but with all of the talent at defensive tackle, he will probably drop into the second round. He has very good initial quickness and is good at getting penetration. Needs to improve his conditioning and consistency. Kevin Williams, DT Oklahoma State
Kevin Williams is an explosive pass rusher with the speed and agility of a defensive end. Could stand to bulk up a little to hold up to the run better. Could be moved to defensive end, or rotate between the positions. Should be a first-round pick.
