Fred BiletnikoffBorn: February 23, 1943 - Erie, Pennsylvania Drafted: Fred Biletnikoff was a second round draft choice of the Oakland Raiders in the 1965 AFL Draft. He was also selected by the NFL's Detroit Lions, but chose to sign with the Raiders instead. Years Played: 1965-1978 Position Played: Wide Receiver Played For: Oakland Raiders Alma Mater: Florida State Inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame: 1988 Uniform Number: 25 Notables: An award in Fred Biletnikoff's name goes to the nations top collegiate wide receiver. Best Season: Fred Biletnikoff's best season came in 1968, when he led the league in receiving with 61 receptions for 1,037 yards and six touchdowns.
