Mel RenfroBorn: Dec. 30, 1941 - Houston, Texas Drafted: Mel Renfro was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 1964 NFL Draft Years Played: 1964-1977 Position Played: Mel Renfro was a running back coming out of college, but played cornerback and safety for the Dallas Cowboys. He also returned punts and kickoffs early in his career.
