QB - Eli Manning - I really have my doubts about Manning being drafted by San Diego after Robert Gallery's stellar workout at the combine. If San Diego feels Brees is still their guy, Gallery might be the way to go, but they would take a lot of criticism for passing up on Eli Manning. Gallery is being looked at as the best player in the draft, and San Diego could use some help on the offensive line, so Gallery would be a good choice here as well.
2.) Oakland
WR - Larry Fitzgerald - If San Diego goes with Manning, I don't think Oakland will be able to pass up Fitzgerald. A good indication of this will be if Rice or Brown return. If one of the two doesn't, then it's pretty much a lock that they'll be targeting Fitzgerald, but that depends on San Diego. If San Diego passes on Manning, Oakland will definetely take him. I've also heard rumors that Al Davis likes the idea of having Robert Gallery as their franchise lineman, so that could happen.
3.) Arizona
QB - Ben Roethlisberger - I was pretty sure at first that Dennis Green would like to have Roethlisberger under the helm, but he seems to have some infatuation with Josh McCown, so I'm not too sure. If he does indeed get drafted by Arizona, I wouldn't expect to see him starting full time until next year. If Fitzgerald falls to Arizona, there's a chance Arizona would draft him. Green likes Fitzgerald, and giving McCown three great offensive weapons to throw to (Boldin, Johnson, Fitzgerald) might be just what he needs.
4.) New York Giants
OT - Robert Gallery - New York's line has been dismantled over the past few seasons, and Gallery would be a huge help for them. I just can't see New York passing him up unless he has a dissapointing workout, and one of the other top players ends up appealing to them more, but passing up help on the offensive line will be tough, and I don't think they will. New york will be fortunate to have Gallery fall this far after his great workout, and if he's gone already, they'd likely go with Ben Roethlisberger, or if it were to somehow happen, Larry Fitzgerald.
5.) Washington
S - Sean Taylor - Now that Champ Bailey is gone, I think Washington DESPERATELY needs to beef up their DBs. As it stands right now, they probably have the worst group of DBs in the league. They'll need a lot more than Taylor, but it's a good start. Personally, I think they'll trade this pick to a team looking to get Sean Taylor or Mike Williams, and get a first, second, and possibly a later draft pick in the process. One of the picks they would acquire would probably be for next year's draft.
6.) Detroit
WR - Mike Williams - I think Detroit goes with the best available player, and even though Kellen Winslow is still available, and they could use a tight end, I think they'll go with Mike Williams. A one-two punch of Charles Rogers and Mike Williams could be a scary combination in the future, and even when they had Rogers last year, Detroit was still searching for more receivers, so this pick would make sense.
7.) Cleveland
TE - Kellen Winslow - If Cleveland passed on Winslow if he was still available, they would be nuts. Drafting Winslow makes sense for this team.
8.) Atlanta
DE - Kenechi Udeze - While Defensive tackle is a need for this team, they could use another defensive end as well, so udeze makes sense. They could go with a defensive tackle, but that would largely depend on individual workouts.
