Featured NFL Mock Draft - No.3

1. Atlanta - Vince Wilfork
The worst defense in the league, they need someone, and its too high for any players in the secondary. Wilfork will take some pressure off the ends and can stuff the run, helping both the run and the pass defense.

-I think the Falcons will trade down to around the #10 spot and get a corner; Marlin Jackson maybe.

2. San Diego - Roy Williams
I like this move because it puts the quarterback in a perfect situation. If Drew Brees doesn't pan out than having two great receivers and a potential hall of fame running back is a great situation for any QB to come into.

-They could get a bunch of other players, mainly Reggie Williams, Shawn Andrews, Robert Gallery, or Vince Wilfork.

3. Jacksonville - Reggie Williams
I really don't care that Roy is gone. There is no talent drop off so they get Leftwich's future hook-up. We'll be seeing some great stuff from these two for years.

-They will probably get the best receiver on their board, or they could pull an attempt to get a corner.

4. Arizona - Eli Manning
The Cardinals need a long term answer at quarterback and the Mannings haven't failed us yet. If he falls to Arizona, he is a lock to go there. I just hope if they get Manning, they decide to make an attempt to turn the franchise around.

-Arizona could go for J.P. Losman or Ben Roethsberger if they're not convinced of Eli's skills. Or they could get Will Smith or Tommie Harris in an attempt to build up what has been a lethargic pass rush in the past.

5. Detroit - Kevin Jones
Jones could be what this club needs to finally get into the winning column. They have their future passing attack in, but they've yet to develop a feared running game. If Jones lives up to the talk they'll be contenders in no time.

-They could also get Steven Jackson or Sean Taylor. I see a running back though, hopefully, if mooch doesn't start one of those running back merry-go-rounds.

6. Chicago - Robert Gallery
The Bears need someone to protect future quarterback Rex Grossman. Gallery is probably the best pass blocker in the draft and a very underrated run blocker. He'll fit right in in Chicago. He'll give the quarterback some time to throw the ball down field instead of screening it off to one of his very talented recievers.

-Chicago could also get Shawn Andrews, but from what I hear, he is more of a right tackle and they need some pass protection first. Also, Tommie Harris, since Brian Urlacher has been a sitting duck lately and defenses have just been sending a couple of O-lineman at him.

7. Oakland - Michael Clayton
Wow, are the raiders receivers slow? Porter is the only one of starting quality right now. And you know how much the Raiders want that offense back. Clayton isn't too far off the Williams' talent, and will be a very good pick up for a Raiders team in dire need of an offensive boost.

-I haven't been watching the Raiders games, but I know that they could use a rushing defense, so Tommie Harris or D.J Williams, or how about Sean Taylor?

8. Pittsburgh - Marlin Jackson
Pittsburgh's corners get burned by everyone, so they need some talent in the secondary. And with Polamalu last year and Jackson this year this secondary will begin to have a new look.

-The Steelers could get Steven Jackson to help an ailing ground game or another CB if they like him better.
