The Jets have the worst run defense in the league. D.J. Williams will do everything within his ultra-talented body to help it. He will be a force in years to come, and when you're giving up 150 yards per game on the ground, then you need some help.
-Maybe Rashaun Woods, but the need for rushing defense is just too pressing. They could get Harris, but they just took a DT last year.
10. Houston - Tommie Harris
The Texans didn't think Harris would drop this far and are thrilled that he dropped to them. He's an Everready battery. He just never runs out of energy. The Texans haven't exactly shut down the run this season, so he'll fit perfectly.
-Houston will also look hard at Sean Talyor since their pass defense has been less than stellar.
11. Clevelend - Shawn Andrews
Cleveland allowed the Chargers to get a pass rush on them. You know it's bad when that happens. Andrews will give Green even more running room. I think they will be thrilled that he's dropped to them.
-Kellen Winslow could very well be picked instead.
12. New York Giants - Sean Taylor
At this point, Taylor is simply the best defensive player in the draft, fast and big, and has a nose for the ball whether on the ground or through the air.
-This would be a no-brainer for the Giants, though they might look at a corner, or linebacker.
13. Washington - Steven Jackson
Hopefully, the Redskins learned from their mistake of letting Stephan Davis go. Jackson is big, strong, and fast. He is the best way to take some of the pressure off of Ramsey.
-They could also go for David Pollack to replace Bruce Smith, who's skill is diminishing.
14. Buffalo - J.P. Losman
This might seem a little early for Losman, but he has all the tools to become great and reminds of Brett Farve. He's athletic, has a rope of an arm, loves the game, and is one of the toughest players to come out of this draft.
-I know that the Bills have Bledsoe, but he's getting older and im hearing complaints coming from Buffalo fans. If Bledsoe doesn't turn it around, he could get run out of town just like in New England. Roethsberger could also be picked here.
15. Tampa Bay - Rashaun Woods
With Keyshawn Johnson gone, Tampa Bay needs to go for another go-to guy. They wood like to get someone who can make an impact soon and Woods is capable of that.
-The Bucs could go for a running back. Or, if they don't believe in Ken Dilger, there's Kellen Winslow Jr.
16. San Francisco - Kellen Winslow Jr.
All his talking may have moved him down, or maybe it was just luck anyway. The Niners need someone else as a receiving threat and he fits that profile. He could end up being better than Shockey.
-They could also go for a wide receiver, but I think Winslow's the way to go.
