If the Jets decide to go after a veteran WR in free agency then they will likely go all out on defense in the draft. Don't be surprised if the Jets land Sean Taylor, D.J. Williams, or Marlin Jackson here.
Other Possibilities - D.J. Williams, Sean Taylor, Marlin Jackson
10. Giants - Shawn Andrews OT Arkansas 6'6 360
The Giants need an offensive lineman to protect Collins, and they won't pass on the mammoth Andrews. This 360lb Giant is the best run blocker in the nation and is this years version of Mike Williams.
Other possibilities - None
11. Redskins - Will Smith DE Ohio State 6'4 265
Bruce Smith will retire sooner or later. And who better to take his place then another Smith... Will Smith that is! He is a pass rushing phenom that can also play the run.
Other possibilities - David Pollack
12. Steelers - Ben Roethlisberger QB Miami (Ohio) 6'5 240
This will be a tough pick for the Steelers. They will have to decide whether they should keep Tommy Maddox or not. If they decide to keep Maddox then they will get a player to protect him like Nat Dorsey or go for the top corner in this years draft. Otherwise it will be hard to pass up on a prospect like Roethlisberger that may end up being the best player in the draft.
Other possibilities - Nat Dorsey, Marlin Jackson
13. Bills - Michael Clayton WR LSU 6'4 195
Clayton is soaring up depth charts with a dominating year. He has proved himself to be the #4 receiver in this years draft. Clayton is a tremendous playmaker and deep threat that will make the Bills fans forget about Peerless Price. Josh Reed doesn't look like a starter and the Bills obviously miss Price more then they let on. They are ranked 31st in points scored, 29th in yards per game, 26th in rush yards, and 26th in passing yards. That is an incredible drop off considering they were one of the most potent offenses in the NFL last year! I don't see them going anywhere else. This is a MUST pick.
Other possibilities - Rashaun Woods
14. Texans - Marcus Tubbs Texas 6-4 325
The Texans spent their first two No.1 picks on offense, time to invest on a defensive player. The Texans need someone... anyone to rush the passer. What the Texans need is everything Tommie Harris can bring, a big defensive lineman that can play in their 3-4 defense and a tremendous pass rusher. With that said the Texans will try to trade up to get Harris. Otherwise they will stay put and take a linebacker or a big DT to anchor their defense. Tubbs has been moving up the charts lately and by draft day (like we saw last year) he won't go past 15.
Other Possibilities - D.J. Williams, Randy Starks, trade up for Harris
15. 49ers - Rashaun Woods WR Oklahoma State 6'2 190
This pick depends on which of their free agents they decide to keep. If they keep Terrell Owens, then they will take a corner. If Plummer stays then Woods would be the pick. But word around town is that T.O. will be gone.
Other possibilities - Marlin Jackson, Chris Gamble
16. Buccaneers - Chris Gamble CB Ohio State 6'2 185
The Bucs thin secondary was exposed this year when Brian Kelly got injured. Gamble is a big physical player that will fit in the Buc's defense perfectly. The Buc's will likely take a WR later in the second round.
Other possibilities - Chris Gamble, Rashaun Woods
