Positives:
DeAngelo Hall has everything you look for in an NFL cornerback. He's a tremendous athlete with blazing speed, he has decent size, and he makes big plays. He's just 5-11, but has good vertical leaping ability. He breaks well on the pass, and has good recovery and closing speed. He's not afraid to step up in run support.
He also has tremendous ability as a return man, scoring three touchdowns while averaging nearly 15 yards per punt return.
Negatives:
Overall he has pretty good technique, but it could use some polishing. He tends to get turned around a little early at times and he doesn't always recognize the play quickly.
Projection:
DeAngelo Hall is still a little raw, but he has tremendous athletic ability and overall he has an unlimited upside. He could possibly be the first cornerback selected in the 2004 NFL Draft. I think he will be picked somewhere from the middle to the late first round.
