Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh mushrooms
1 cup flour
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 egg
1 cup water
Oil for deep frying
Directions:
Wash and clean mushrooms. Combine flour, garlic salt, egg, and water in a bowl. Stir until smooth. Use a spoon to dip mushrooms in batter and carefully drop into hot oil (375 degrees). Fry until crispy. With slotted spoon remove mushrooms from oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and serve while hot.
