Kansas City Chiefs 2008 Preview

The Kansas City Chiefs struggled through the 2007 season, limping to a 4-12 finish. And although the team added a lot of young talent through the draft, things don't appear a whole lot better for the immediate future. There are still concerns with the offensive line, the running game, and nobody really knows if Brodie Croyle is the answer at quarterback.

As the powers that be for the Green Bay Packers and retired/unretired quarterback Brett Favre continue to play the blame game in what has become the biggest offseason sideshow in years, I've been gauging the reaction of fans through comments on various blogs and football forums, and it amazes me how quickly so many of them have turned on a guy who once could do no wrong in the eyes of most Cheeseheads.

Favre a Backup? Rodgers in No-Win Situation

Reports surfaced over the weekend indicating that Brett Favre would be welcomed back by the Green Bay Packers, but only as the backup to Aaron Rodgers, who has been groomed all offseason for the starting role.

Can you imagine that? The future Hall of Famer carrying a clipboard for a guy who has never started an NFL game?
