Then you can help us get this interactive game of elimination under way.

The game itself is very simple. We will start with a list of 16 players that YOU choose and each week YOU will vote on the one player that will be eliminated. The process will continue every week of the season until we have one lone survivor left at the end of the season.

How do you choose the players?

You do it for us!

The first 16 participants to post a player's name on the Pro Football Forum will have their player added to the list, so if you want to make sure your favorite player is included you better act quick.

Well, which players can we pick?

You can pick a running back, a quarterback, a wide receiver, or a tight end. The only catch is we are only taking four of each position so once we get four players at one position you will have to chose from another catagory.

What's next?

After we get our list of 16 players, it will be posted "In The Spotlight" on the Pro Football web site along with the name of the person who submitted the player. Under the list of players there will be a place for you to vote for the player you want eliminated that week.

Can I vote more than once or for more than one player?

Vote as many times as you want and for as many players as you want. Do whatever you have to do to keep your man on the board.

When will the first player be eliminated?

The first elimination will take place during week two of the NFL season. The voting for the first player will be cut off Sunday at midnight eastern time. The player that has the most votes at that time will be eliminated.

On Monday morning we will post the remaining players and we will reset the votes for week three. This process will continue until week 15 when we eliminate one of the last two players still on the board, and we crown our champion.

Can I participate if I didn't nominate a player?

Absolutely! Everyone is encouraged to vote to make sure their favorite player stays on the board, and on the opposite side of the coin, if there is a player you just can't stand then you can try to get them voted out.

How do I get started?

Go to the Pro Football Forum and nominate the player of your choice. If there are already 16 players on the board then keep an eye out on the Pro Football Home Page for the first vote to begin.
