About Football's Weekly Wipeout

All Right!

Thanks to your help we now have our roster full of NFL football players that are ready to try and survive the season. So make sure you check over the list so you know who is on the team. Then pay attention on game day to the performances of each of them on and off the field.

If one of the quarterbacks throws an interception to lose a game... Vote him off the team!

If one of the tight ends drops a wide-open pass in the end zone... Get rid of him!

Maybe one of our running backs forgets to block a blitzing linebacker... Vote, vote, vote!

Everything these players do the rest of the season, on and off the field, will be under the constant scrutiny of the About Football Weekly Wipeout panel of judges... That's You!

And being a member of the panel gives you, the viewer, the right to vote for as many players as you like, as often as you like.

If a wide receiver blows up at the media after a tough game... give him the boot!

Voting for the first elimination will begin during half-time of week one's Monday Night Football game, at which time polls will be placed "In The Spotlight" on the front page of the Pro Football web site. Voting will continue, 24 hours a day, until midnight eastern time on Saturday.

The player that has accumulated the most votes by midnight Saturday will be eliminated from the contest and will be relegated to the bench for the remainder of the season.

Also, don't forget to take advantage of the Pro Football Forum to discuss your reasons for wanting to get a player voted down, or form alliances with other viewers to make sure your player survives until the end. You can also use the Pro Football Chat Room as a place to meet and discuss strategies without the entire board knowing your plans.

So look forward to the polls being posted during week one's Monday Night Football game and Happy Voting!
