Tampa Bay 34

Tampa Bay's league-leading defense shut down Michael Vick for the second time this year, limiting him to 125 yards passing and just 15 yards on the ground. Brad Johnson completed 23-of-31 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns, two each to Joe Jurevicius and Keenan McCardell. Jurevicius had eight receptions for 100 yards

Indianapolis 17
Tennessee 27

Steve McNair passed for 237 yards, completing 19-of-23 passes, including 14 in a row at one point as the Titans took control of the AFC South with a win over the division-rival Colts. He also threw a 42-yard touchdown pass on their opening drive and used his scrambling ability to set up two fourth quarter field goals.

NY Giants 27
Washington 21

New York's defense recorded six sacks and forced five turnovers, including a key fumble late in the fourth quarter inside the Giants' 30-yard line. The Redskins got one more opportunity, but rookie Patrick Ramsey's Hail Mary fell incomplete in the end zone for the Redskins as time expired and the Giants hung on for a 27-21 victory.

Pittsburgh 6

Houston's offense was held to just 47 yards of total offense, but three defensive touchdowns allowed them to stun the heavily-favored Steelers. Tommy Maddox, in his first game back since being briefly paralyzed, threw for 325 yards. But his fumble was returned 40 yards for a touchdown on Pittsburgh's first possession, and Aaron Glenn returned an interception 70 yards for a touchdown on the second possession. Glenn also scored on a 65-yard interception return in the fourth quarter.

Buffalo 17
New England 27

Drew Bledsoe went 32-for-51 for 328 yards in his first trip to Foxboro since being traded by New England, but was intercepted four times, helping the Patriots beat the Bills, 27-17. The Patriots scored on all four of their first-half possessions despite having two apparent touchdown passes nullified by penalties.

St. Louis 10
Kansas City 49

Dante Hall ran back a kickoff 88 yards in the first quarter and a punt 86 yards in the second period. Hall became just the 20th player in NFL history to return two kicks for touchdowns in the same game, as the Chiefs drilled the Rams, 49-10. Priest Holmes ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns, lifting his season touchdown total to 24.

Jacksonville 20

Quincy Morgan caught a 50-yard Hail Mary from Tim Couch as time expired, tying the contest at 20 before Phil Dawson kicked the extra point for the one-point victory. The win pulled the Browns to within a half-game of the division-leading Steelers and kept their playoff hopes alive.

San Francisco 31
Dallas 27

Terrell Owens caught two fourth-quarter touchdown passes, including an eight-yarder with 12 seconds remaining, giving the 49ers a 31-27 victory over the Cowboys and clinching an NFC West title.

Cincinnati 31
Carolina 52

Rodney Peete went 21-for-29 for a season-high 319 yards and three touchdowns, Lamar Smith had five catches for a career-high 144 yards, and Muhsin Muhammad had eight catches for 106 yards as the Panthers rang up 52 points against the Cincinnati Bengals. Steve Smith contributed with three touchdowns, two on punt returns, and set a career-high with 313 total yards

Seattle 20

The Seahawks cut the lead to 27-20 on an 11-yard pass from Matt Hasselbeck to Jerramy Stevens with 45 seconds to play, but the Eagles covered Seattle's onside kick and ran out the clock. Third-string quarterback A.J. Feeley passed for two touchdowns and Duce Staley rushed for 100 yards.

New Orleans 37
Baltimore 25

Deuce McAllister ran for 126 yards and three touchdowns, the Saints special teams blocked two punts, and the defense recovered three fumbles and intercepted Jeff Blake two times as New Orleans beat the Ravens despite losing starting quarterback Aaron Brooks to a shoulder injury.

Detroit 20
Arizona 23 OT

Bill Gramatica tied the game with a 41-yard field goal with 3:20 remaining in regulation before kicking a 42-yarder in overtime to lift the Arizona Cardinals over the Detroit Lions and end their six-game losing streak.

Oakland 27
San Diego 7

Rich Gannon set an NFL record with his 10th 300-yard game of the season, completing 26-of-41 passes for 328 yards and leading the Raiders to a 27-7 win over division rival San Diego. Although he set the Chargers' single-season rushing record with 1,375 yards and scored a touchdown, LaDainian Tomlinson was held to just 57 yards on 18 carries.

NY Jets 19

Jon McGraw had a huge interception late in the game, stopping the Broncos' potential game-winning drive deep in Jets' territory and preserving a 19-13 victory over the Denver Broncos. Chad Pennington threw a fourth-quarter touchdown pass to Laveranues Coles to put the Jets on top before McGraw's interception sealed the win.

Minnesota 22
Green Bay 26

Tony Fisher's 14-yard touchdown run with 1:06 remaining put Green Bay ahead of the Vikings for the first time Sunday night. Minnesota's last hope came up short when Daunte Culpepper's desperation pass as time expired was intercepted by Darren Sharper.
