Ricky Williams streak of 200-yard games ended at two, but he did manage to rush for 101 yards against the Raiders while the Dolphins' defense held the league's top-ranked offense to a just 218 yards. Jason Taylor had three sacks, giving him a sack in seven consecutive games, and Patrick Surtain ended any Raiders comeback hopes by intercepting a deep Rich Gannon pass with less than two minutes to play.

Houston 19

Jeff Blake's 11-yard touchdown pass to Chester Taylor with 3:33 left in the third quarter made the score 20-7, giving the Ravens all the points they would need to knock off the expansion Texans. Chad Williams intercepted a pass by David Carr with 1:57 left in the game, ending Houston's comeback hopes.

After falling behind by 16 points in the first half, the Colts responded with four second-half touchdowns to score a 28-23 come-from-behind victory over the Browns. Minnesota 32
New Orleans 31

After Daunte Culpepper threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Randy Moss with five seconds remaining, Vikings head coach Mike Tice decided to go for the two-point conversion, and the win, rather than send the game to overtime. Culpepper then ran for the two-point conversion, as the Vikings ended a 17-game road losing streak.

Jacksonville 29
Cincinnati 15

Mark Brunell was 19-of-28 for 223 yards with a season-high three touchdown passes as the Jaguars took advantage of more Bengal bungling. Set up by a Cincinnati penalty, Brunell's 26-yard touchdown pass to Jimmy Smith late in the third quarter put Jacksonville ahead to stay.

Detroit 20

Martin Gramatica kicked three field goals, including a 38-yarder that snapped a 20-20 tie with 3:04 remaining. Jason Hanson had a chance to tie the game with a 57-yard attempt, but it came up short and the Bucs ran out the clock.

Seattle 30
Atlanta 24 OT

Michael Vick's 12-yard touchdown pass to Trevor Gaylor with 17 seconds left in regulation sent the game to overtime, but after Atlanta's A.J. Feely missed a 36-yard field goal in the extra period, Shaun Alexander ran 27 yards for a touchdown to end the game.

San Diego 13
Buffalo 20

Doug Flutie, who played for Buffalo two years ago, took his first snaps of the season in the fourth quarter and led the Chargers to a game-tying field goal. NY Jets 13
Chicago 20

After catching Chad Pennington's pass and running 22 yards on the Jets final drive, Wayne Chrebet fumbled while trying to hurdle a Chicago defender. Rookie Roosevelt Williams recovered for the Bears at the 14-yard line with 1:10 left to seal the victory.

Green Bay 20
San Francisco 14

After Ryan Longwell's 28-yard field goal with 4:41 left, Jeff Garcia drove the 49ers to the Green Bay 11 before throwing three incompletions, including a fourth-and-seven that came up short and effectively ended the game.

Dallas 7
NY Giants 37

The Giants exploded for 21 points in the first quarter behind the running of Tiki Barber, who scored on a 1-yard run and set up another touchdown with a 60-yard run, leading the Giants to a 37-7 victory over the Cowboys.

Kansas City 24
Denver 31

Clinton Portis fumbled twice in the first-half, but bounced back to tie a team record with four touchdowns as the Denver Broncos held off a late rally by the Kansas City Chiefs to win, 31-24.
