Tiki Barber rushed for a career-high 203 yards, but his three fumbles nearly cost the Giants a shot at the playoffs. New York overcame Barber's bobbles and a missed field goal to win 10-7 on a 39-yard field goal by Matt Bryant 5:10 into overtime. Eagles Pro Bowl kicker David Akers missed a potential game-winning 35-yard field goal attempt with 1:16 left in regulation.

Charlie Garner rushed for 135 yards, Zack Crockett added 72 more, and they each scored a touchdown for Oakland as the Raiders shut out the Chiefs in a downpour, 24-0. Without injured Pro Bowl running back Priest Holmes, the Chiefs could managed just 176 total yards, including 44 yards on the ground.

Rookie William Green scored on a 64-yard touchdown run with 3:53 remaining in the fourth quarter, giving the Browns a huge 24-16 win over the Falcons. Atlanta had a chance to pull out the victory, but Browns linebacker Earl Holmes stopped Warrick Dunn at the goal line on a 4th-and-1 with 23 seconds left.
Baltimore 31

Tommy Maddox escaped the grasp of Ravens linebacker Peter Boulware and hit rookie Antwaan Randle El for an eight-yard touchdown with 2:29 left in the fourth quarter, giving the Steelers the lead. A successful conversion pass to Plaxico Burress made it a three point game. The Ravens managed to get into position for a game-tying field goal with 27 seconds left, but Jeff Blake was intercepted in the end zone by Dewayne Washington, ending the Ravens chances.

The Redskins ended a 10-game losing streak to the Dallas Cowboys in a turnover-filled 20-14 victory. The Cowboys tied the game late in the first half on rookie Roy Williams' 85-yard interception return, but Washington took the lead back for good when Lavar Arrington fell on a Chad Hutchinson fumble in the endzone midway through the third quarter.

Cornerback Terry Cousin had a fumble recovery and two interceptions, including one that sealed the win in the closing seconds as the Panthers ended the Saints playoff hopes, 10-6. Aaron Brooks was held to just 12-of-31 for 145 yards as the Saints managed just 244 total yards.

Adam Vinatieri's 35-yard field goal 2:03 into overtime capped an 11-point comeback with less than three minutes left in regulation and pushed the Patriots past the Dolphins, 27-24. Ricky Williams had another outstanding day with 183 yards rushing and two touchdowns for Miami.

Daunte Culpepper completed 21-of-29 passes for 312 yard and two touchdown passes. He also ran one in for another score as the Vikings held on for a 38-36 victory over the Lions. Mike McMahon hit Scotty Anderson on a 20-yard touchdown pass with 13 seconds to go, pulling Detroit within two points. But the two-point try was unsuccessful and the Vikings recovered the ensuing onside kick.

Jon Kitna completed 19-of-35 passes for 241 yards and scored on a six-yard touchdown run, but was intercepted twice and fumbled once as the Bengals bungled their way toward their 14th loss of the season.

Eddie George rushed for 102 yards and scored a touchdown on a four-yard run with under five minutes remaining that gave the Titans a 13-3 lead. Rookie quarterback David Carr was sacked three times, increasing his NFL record for times sacked to 76 for the season.

Peyton Manning hit tight end Marcus Pollard with an 11-yard touchdown pass with 2:26 left in the fourth quarter, lifting the Colts over the Jaguars, 20-13.

Rian Lindell's 24-yard field goal with 5:02 left in overtime capped a Seahawks comeback from a 28-14 deficit with 8:37 left in regulation. Matt Hasselbeck, who completed 36-of-53 passes for 449 yards and two touchdowns, scored on a one-yard touchdown run with one second left in the fourth quarter to send the game to overtime.

Chad Pennington completed 17-of-24 passes for 196 yards and a career-high four touchdowns as the Jets routed the Packers 42-23. Curtis Martin finished with 83 yards Sunday and 1,094 for the year, his eighth straight over 1,000 yards.

Rookie running back Clinton Portis ran for a career-high 228 yards and two touchdowns as the Broncos beat the Arizona Cardinals 37-7. Portis scored on a 4-yard run off left tackle to put the Broncos up 30-7 midway through the fourth before adding a 12-yard TD run late in the game.
