25. Green Bay - Boss Bailey, LB, Georgia
Hardy Nickerson is old and they need a playmaker to man the middle linebacker position. He can flat out run and cover space. Exactly what the Packers need to keep up with speedy backs and tight ends. He was slowed by a knee injury in 2000 but is finally back to his explosive self.
26. New Orleans - Mike Doss, S, Ohio St.
Not too many weaknesses on this team but the weakest link would have to be the secondary. At this point in the draft I don't think they will go for a corner instead opting for the best available player who will give them a pretty good safety tandem when they pair Doss with Sammy Knight.
27. Philadelphia - Lee Evans, WR, Wisconsin
Donovan McNabb can't do it all as he tried by becoming only the second player in NFL history to throw for 250 yards and run for 100 against the Jags yet still lost. He desperately needs a wide receiver who he can depend on when the game is on the line.
28. San Francisco - Jarret Johnson, DT, Alabama
Bryant Young and Dana Stubblefield are getting older with no one behind that makes me think positive thoughts. What he lacks in size he makes up for in heart and talent.
29. Miami - Jordan Gross, OT, Utah
Miami needs to add depth to their offensive line if they expect for that Ricky Williams trade to continue being a positive. Though this pick could belong to the Saints depending on how Ricky finishes this season.
30. Denver - Sammy Davis, CB, Texas A&M
When Tyrone Poole is your nickel back then you need to add another corner.
31. Oakland (Tampa) - Rex Grossman, QB, Florida
Oakland needs someone to take the reigns after Rich Gannon finally retires. Grossman would fit their system pretty well and would have some pretty good veterans to study under. It doesn't hurt to have an arm like his either.
32. Oakland - Lee Suggs, RB, Virginia Tech
He's proved so far that he's back from last year's knee injury and he should only get better as the knee gets stronger. The Raiders need some youth at this position so why not take the best back in the draft.
