Comment on This Mock Draft
1. Cincinatti - Byron Leftwich, QB Marshall
Hopefully he isn't the next Akili Smith. How can they Bengals pass on this guy? They are terrible at QB and he has a big time arm.
2. Houston - Charlie Rogers, WR Michigan St.
This guy is underrated with the Spartans. He catches a touchdown every game. He is the total package. He has Randy Moss skills, and a lot better attitude.
3. Minnesota - William Joseph, DT Miami (Fla)
Too bad they can't draft Dr. Phil or something. Someone needs to save Duante Culpepper, cause the guy is awesome, but how can they pass on Joseph? He is a monster and will help that hopeless defense. Whatever happened to the Purple People Eaters?
4. N.Y. Jets - Jerome McDougle, DE Miami (Fla)
I know what you're thinking. The Jets drafted a DE last year, but McDougle looks like the real deal. Anybody from Miami is usually good, and this guy has tremendous potential.
5. Carolina - Dave Ragone, QB Louisville
The Panthers don't have a QB, at all. Peete is 56 years old, Wienke and Fasani just aren't going to cut it. Ragone is a pin point passer with a big time arm. He looks like a Boomer Esiason clone, with a little more speed.
6. Washington - Jimmy Kennedy, DT Penn St
It is not Spurrier's fault they are terrible. He doesn't have the right players, but getting Kennedy will be a great pick up. They could use about everything though, but Kennedy is the best player left on the board.
7. Detroit - Roy Williams, WR Texas
He has had an injury plagued season so far, but has tremendous upside to him. He can run, and block. He needs to work on his hands a little, but will be a great target for Harrington in the future.
8. Seattle - E.J. Henderson, LB Maryland.
This guy looks like the best LB prospect in a couple years. Seattle will be happy to take him here. He looks like he will play about 13 years and have 100 tackles every year. He is one of those can't miss prospects.
