25) New Orleans Saints - Cory Redding, DE, Texas. Again, he's a guy who will be around for his measurables more than his production. He's disappeared in games way too many times. Still, the potential is certainly there, and the Saints wouldn't need him to be productive right away.

26) San Francisco 49ers - Jordan Gross, OT, Utah. The 49ers are in a position that they can feasibly take the best available player. Their needs aren't glaring. They might choose to go for a DT such as Jarret Johnson from Alabama to back up an aging corps, or maybe a LB in another attempt to unseat Derek Smith. Maybe even another DB, even though Rumph still needs time to develop. But doesn't it seem to you that Garcia's always under pressure when he's passing? He shouldn't be with their running game. Gross will shore that up.

27) Atlanta Falcons - Vince Manuwai, OG, Hawaii. They really want to go WR here, but there just isn't anyone worthy of this high a pick. Lee Evans would have been, but he'll probably drop now that he's been busted for drugs, so they'd be able to snag him later. They'll probably also try to trade down, so that's certainly an option here. Manuwai might be the best offensive lineman in the draft, he'll help Vick out a lot too.

28) Oakland Raiders (Tampa Bay) - Jarret Johnson, DT, Alabama. Who knows how long Sam Adams will be around, and with Parella and Armstrong, the defensive line's not getting any younger. The Raiders major weakness is certainly stopping the run, and Johnson has proven he knows how to do that.

29) Denver Broncos - Teyo Johnson, TE, Stanford. Like Martz, this one's going to be a guilty pleasure for Shanahan. Sharpe's getting up there, and when he went down, his backups didn't excite anyone. Johson's certainly a project, but one with all-pro written all over him. How many lob TD's do you think Griese will throw to the 6'7" Johnson?

30) Oakland Raiders - Lee Suggs, RB, Virginia Tech. The Raiders won't be able to pass on Suggs, who shouldn't fall this far, but will because of circumstance. Suggs is tough as they come, and he's another guy you could ease into the lineup, make sure that knee doesn't give out before it should.

31) Tennessee Titans - Mario Haggan, LB, Mississippi St. Again, not their biggest need, but just too enticing a player. Haggan can step in with Bullock and one of their other young guys that step up (Calmus, maybe?) to be one of the best LB corps in the league.

32) Green Bay Packers - Chris Simms, QB, Texas. The perfect place for Simms to go, and Mike Sherman will know it. He'll have a few years to drink up what he can from Favre, and then he'll be ready to take the reigns. The kid is better than his reputation, which has been brutalized, but the truth is, he had no help in those games against Oklahoma. He had to try and be a one man show. You surround him with guys who are talented and make plays, and he'll be just fine. Sherman will do that.
