Round 1 | Round 2 | Round 3

17. New Orleans Saints - Troy Polamalu S, USC
Polamalu led USC with 118 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, three interceptions, two forced fumbles, and three blocked kicks. Simply put, the kid is a playmaker. He's the best safety in the draft and the Saints need help in their secondary.

18. New Orleans Saints (From Miami) - Andre Woolfolk CB, Oklahoma
Woolfolk is very raw, but he has tremendous potential. May be worth the risk for a team with two first-round picks.

19. New England Patriots - E.J. Henderson, LB Maryland
Henderson has decent speed, but he's not a burner like Ray Lewis or Brian Urlacher. He's more the physically intimidating type; a solid run-stuffing linebacker. I think he could start right away for the Patriots.

20. Denver Broncos - Michael Haynes, DE Penn State
The Broncos need a pass rusher that can consistently pressure opposing quarterbacks. Haynes' pass-rushing ability should draw a little attention away from Trevor Pryce.

21. Cleveland Browns - Eric Steinbach, OT/G Iowa
The Browns need a solid offensive tackle so they can move Ross Verba back to guard, and Steinbach seems to have finally put the injuries behind him. He has the versatility to play tackle or guard, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he turned out to be the best tackle in the draft.

22. Chicago Bears (from NY Jets) - Kyle Boller, QB California
By trading down, the Bears pick up their quarterback of the future. They could pull a surprise and pick Rex Grossman, but Boller has the agility and mobility that GM Jerry Angelo likes.

23. Buffalo Bills (from Atlanta) - William Joseph, DT Miami
Sam Adams is an upgrade, but the Bills still need to add a solid, young defensive tackle. Joseph is very athletic, moves well laterally, and gets good penetration.

24. Indianapolis Colts - Mike Doss, S Ohio State
The Colts could use a big, run-stuffing defensive tackle, but there isn't one that stands out this late in the first round. I think their first pick would be better spent filling a hole in the secondary.
