It takes dominant fantasy football players to keep you in contention, but you can separate yourself from the competition if you know who the safe picks are once the fantasy studs and the super solid players are picked over. These guys may not produce among the league's best, but they are a safe bet to at least produce on a moderate level. Most of these guys fall into the NO. 2 starter/key backup role.
