1. Tim Tebow, QB Florida - An inconsistent performance by Missouris Chase Daniels probably ended most of the suspense. It would be an upset for Tebow to not win the award at this point.
2. Darren McFadden, RB Arkansas - His 206 yards on the ground against LSU put McFadden back in contention for the Heisman, but a couple down performances earlier in the season probably cost him a chance of surpassing Tebow.
3. Kevin Smith, RB UCF - A 284-yard, four-touchdown game in the Conference USA Championship game should have ensured the nations leading rusher will get an invite to New York.
4. Colt Brennan, QB Hawaii - Back-to-back performances of 400+ yards and five touchdowns, along with an undefeated season, should have lifted Brennan into the top five.
5. Chase Daniel, QB Missouri - Daniel threw two interceptions and struggled to complete 50% of his passes in the loss to Oklahoma, which should end all talk of the Heisman going in his direction.
On the bubble:
6. Dennis Dixon, QB Oregon - A knee injury has most likely killed his chances, but Dixon should receive a few votes based on what he did prior to the injury.
