Positives:
Claude Wroten has great experience and has played with and behind many great former LSU defensive linemen such as Marcus Spears, Marquise Hill, and more recently Kyle Williams. He has played at a very consistent level his senior year. He plays with high energy on every play and is very strong.
Negatives:
Wroten is a little undersized at 293 pounds, but is very reminiscent of a first round pick from last year, Mike Patterson from Southern California (5’11”, 292 lbs.). He also benefited with playing next to another talented inside lineman Kyle Williams.
Overview:
Wroten’s performance throughout his senior year has vaulted him into discussion of being a first-round pick and perhaps the first defensive tackle selected. He has a good heart and his intensity never allows him to give up on a play.
