Positional Rankings: QB RB FB WR TE OT OG C - DE DT ILB OLB S CB - K P

Position: Cornerback

School: Georgia

Status: Senior

Positives:

A very quick corner with fluid hips, DeMario Minter has great athleticism and is very fast. He has great experience as he received decent time as a freshman and has been starting for three years. Minter is rarely beat, but needs to utilize his athleticism more.

Negatives:

Minter's decision making is sometimes questioned as he will try and rely too heavily on his anticipation and not his athleticism. Only an average tackler and won’t make the big hit. Minter needs to be more physical in both the pass and run game.

Overview:
An outstanding track star in high school, DeMario Minter is a great athlete and a leader on defense. He earned a number of prestigious UGA defensive awards during his tenure. He played against many outstanding SEC offenses and was a key contributor in their blow out win against LSU in the 2005 SEC Championship Game.
