Positional Rankings: QB RB FB WR TE OT OG C - DE DT ILB OLB S CB - K P
About Football ranks the top underclassmen who we feel have a reasonable chance of making themselves eligible for the 2006 NFL Draft.
1. Reggie Bush, RB USC
This is a no-brainer. Bush is the top talent overall in this year's draft.
2. Vince Young, QB Texas
A terrific performance in the Rose Bowl vaulted Young into the top three.
3. Mario Williams, DE North Carolina State
Mario Williams has been a starter in Raleigh since his freshman year, so he's very experienced for an underclassman.
4. Haloti Ngata, DT Oregon
A prototypical nose tackle, Ngata has a great combination of size, power, and agility.
5. Vernon Davis, TE Maryland
Davis is a tremendous athlete and should be a big receiving threat in the NFL.
6. LenDale White, RB USC
Has solidified himself as one of the best power runners in college football.
7. Laurence Maroney, RB Minnesota
A complete running back with a good combination of size, speed, and power.
8. Leonard Pope, TE Georgia
Great size and quickness should make him a receiving threat in the NFL.
9. Santonio Holmes, WR Ohio State
Holmes is a burner in the mold of a Santana Moss.
10. Winston Justice, OT USC
Justice has the size, speed, and quickness to be a solid pass protector and run blocker in the NFL.
