By , About.com Guide

Offense: QB RB FB WR TE OT OG C
Defense: DT NT DE Hybrid DE/OLB OLB ILB FS SS CB
Special Teams: K P RS LS

As a third-year sophomore forgoing his final two seasons in college, receiver Jeremy Maclin has the size, speed, agility, and athletic ability to make the jump to the NFL. Not only is he a top talent catching the ball, but he can run with it as well and is dangerous returning punts and kicks.

At 6-1 and 200 pounds, Maclin has good size. He also has great body control and adjusts well to the ball while it is in the air. He has solid hands and does a good job of catching the ball away from his body. As an added plus, he's a solid blocker and a hard worker on and off the field.

With only one full year under his belt, Maclin is inexperienced and it shows in his route running. He also had some issues hanging onto the ball at times.

Despite his shortcomings, Maclin is one of the top offensive weapons in the draft and should be selected early in the first round.
