Following a successful 10-2 season in 2007, quarterback Matthew Stafford and the Georgia Bulldogs faced an overmatched Hawaii team at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. Stafford wasn't spectacular, but he was efficient, completing 14-of-23 passes for 175 yards and a touchdown.
The Bulldogs ran away with the contest, 41-10, behind a solid defense and rushing attack.
